To the surprise of many of our loyal guests over the years, the original purpose of starting the Moose Café at NC Farmers Market was to sell more produce by showcasing ways to prepare the ingredients sold by a group of vendors inside the Market. To keep within the theme of utilizing local NC Agriculture, the recipes were Southern rooted, Southern Appalachia more specifically. Fast forward 30 years later, the recipes and philosophy of preparing everything from scratch with fresh ingredients is completely intact.
At the Moose Café, we strive to offer our guests a southern style farm to table dining experience without the fuss, just delicious food at a great value. Visit our Farmers Market restaurant for a taste of North Carolina.
