• Timing: Step outside within 30 to 60 minutes of waking up.
• Duration: Spend 10 to 15 minutes outside, or up to 20 to 30 minutes if it is
cloudy or overcast.
• Eye Safety: Never look directly at the sun. Natural daylight is effective even on gloomy days, but you should avoid wearing sunglasses during this morning window.
• Environment: For the best effect, view the light outdoors rather than through a window, as glass filters out the specific wavelengths of light your brain needs to set its internal clock.
