Black Reef Custom Rods

Another year in the books for the Take a Bite Out of Cancer Fishing Tournament. It was really fun this year building the rods for the redfish division. Big shout out to Bill Batson with Batson Enterprises for the components .
First rod purple was a Rainshadow rclb70ml 20 to 40 lb featuring all batson alps components
Second rod green was a Rainshadow rclb70ml 20to 40 lbs featuring all batson alps components
Third rod blue was a Rainshadow swb80xh 20 to 50 lb featuring all alps components.

What an amazing opportunity to build these rods for the Take a bite out of Cancer tournament. Orange rod is a rclb810m 8'10 20 to 50 lb blank featuring all alps componets. Purple rod is a rclb810ml 8'10 20 to 40 lb blank featuring all alps componets.

Really cool build. All batson componets. Rainshadow revelation revcb66m. Alps trigger reel seat . alps guides custom powedercoated. Spiral wrapped.

Rail rod coming along nicely. Got alot of finish work . but in happy with it for now. Reel is a daiwa slt 80w that been powercoated in illusion lime . Rod is a rainshadow rctb76xxh. 50-130 first and tip are alps roller guides. The running guides are alps heavy duty boat guides all powercoated in illusion lime to match the reel. Rod features a bandana inlay with lots of trim work. Big shout out to Bill Mansel with bo'z custom rods for the powercoating of the reel and guides.
