Shining Stars, celebrating 25 years, held its luncheon at the Colleyville Center in April where 31 honorees (2022-2023) were recognized for their dedication and volunteering talents to their organizations and community. “Elvis” helped with the presentation and husband Dale Holt proudly approves of this honor. Two tables of SOS and Holt family members attended to support Roxanne, their well deserved “Shining Star”!

It was that time of year! As always, SOS member Jean Dodds helped her granddaughter, Josie, sell Girl Scout cookies. Several generous people decided to save the calories but still support the Girl Scouts. This resulted in 50 boxes of Girl Scout cookies being delivered recently to SafeHaven for the moms and kids in the shelters to enjoy.Photo is…...
