Blue Knight "Roar to the Shore", Apr24-27, 2014 04/29/2014

Blue Knights from the Tricities area went to the Outer Banks Bike Week Apr24-27, 2014. The Chapter (VAXVII) departed from Colonial Heights Thursday morning, with twelve bikes and sixteen riders and one truck. Dinner Thursday night at Pamlico Jacks finished the day. Friday we did our own thing, and most of us were back in the hotel when bad weather struck. No damage was experienced, but we did have bad weather. Saturday morning, twelve bikes and seventeen riders departed the hotel parking lot at 7am and rode through Manteo to Swan Quarter, where the riders boarded a ferry for Ocracoke. We then rode up Ocracoke Island to the Ocracoke-Hatteras Ferry. The riders stopped for dinner after leaving Ocracoke, and arrived back at the hotel at about 6pm. A beautiful day....Most of the Blue Knights returned home on Sunday.
