Cool article showing that liposuction in people with elevated triglyceride levels can produce a dramatic decrease in their blood levels of those triglycerides. This may lead to a long term significant health benefit beyond the contouring and shape. Nice to see some proof of what had been suspected for quite a while.

It's a shame to still see breast reconstruction underused. It is better than in the past, however. The TRAM flap is showing good durability but has its own issues.

Just back from the American Society for Plastic Surgery meeting. Very exciting progress on all sorts of breast shaping in cosmetic and reconstruction with fat transfer. Already using this for breast reconstruction but definitely going to pursue this further.
