This July, the BSCS Biology: Understanding for Life Unit 1 Open Enrollment Institute gives high school biology teachers a chance to experience the Infectious Diseases unit from the student perspective while preparing to teach it with confidence.

Over two live virtual sessions, educators will:
🦠 Explore the Unit 1 storyline centered on bacterial infections and antibiotic resistance
🧪 Experience Anchored Inquiry Learning lessons firsthand
📝 Work with literacy and sensemaking strategies embedded throughout the curriculum
