You know the more I learn the more I dont know. Today heating a clients ratchet handle i pull it from franken forge and go to the anvil only to get a spectacular exothermic reaction and pop the end blows off. Went to the rocky mountain smith association for a quick "oh s**t help" moment and come to find out some companies fill with a lead based compound that dosnt react well with high heat and preasure. Bad news my client dosnt get the piece he wanted. Good news i have some spring steel and a mad need to make an ulfburt style Damascus knife for this guy.
