This seminar focuses on the central role of effective speech communication in achieving professional law enforcement objectives. Participants will identify the necessary skills for developing verbal fitness and learn how to practice strategic interaction to facilitate voluntary compliance. Emphasis is given to specific de-escalation interaction techniques that will promote officer safety, reduce citizen complaints, and enhance each participant’s professionalism.

Leadership & Communication in St Louis on Tuesday for the West/East Executive Development Conference THEN Communication Excellence for Law Enforcement in Princeton Illinois on Wednesday THEN Communicating with Difficult People for the Southwest Illinois Law Enforcement Commission in Fairview Heights Illinois on Thursday.

I have presented seminars in Decatur Georgia, Texas, Indiana and Alabama.. Today's Favorite Student in my return to Decatur, Illinois was Tim Hoffman of the Macon County Sheriff's Office.

Commodore Stephen Decatur is a U.S. Naval icon and has 46 communities and seven counties named for him . Five down and 41 to go!

Yesterday's FAVORITE STUDENT in Mattoon Illinois. I presented Communication Excellence for Law Enforcement for the East Central Illinois LE Training Commission. Officer Blackwell kept my 12 year streak of selling at least ONE BOOK at every seminar. (Then Six more attendees bought one). Only 15 participates total...so ECILETC is now my New Favorite Client! ( I was forewarned to expect a small audience.. Silly Me...I was expecting a room full of Little People)

Day Two Favs with Hot Springs Oaklawn Racing and Gaming were plentiful.

Working with the Security Professionals at Oaklawn. All were terrific but Ray Lunsford was My Favorite Student all day long.
