John Echevarria - Colton Council Member

It was truly an honor to share my story with some Colton High School students. I spoke about being raised by a single mother, never meeting my father, and how my family depended on public assistance throughout much of my childhood.

Those years were not easy, but I wanted those teenagers to understand that difficult beginnings do not define your future. With perseverance, support, and belief in yourself, it’s definitely possible to reach your dreams!
