“Does PXT work on a gas gun?”

Absolutely, it’s excellent.

This 223 Wylde PXT barrel sits at 2,500 rounds with its entire life spent launching 77gr Sierra Bullets MatchKings. The 10-shot group shown here measured .68 MOA at 100 meters through a 1-8x Nightforce Optics.

One thing that’s difficult to appreciate until you shoot one is how different PXT feels. The exponential twist profile reduces left and right torque as the bullet engages the rifling, resulting in very little reticle movement and a gas gun that stays incredibly flat and easy to track.
