PSA: Don’t Trust EBAY Parts!

A customer brought in a set of LS heads to be serviced, along with a set of springs to match his upgraded cam. These springs (and cam) were what was recommended by multiple people on Facebook groups - on eBay because they were cheap.

Coil Bind on the springs he provided measured 1.320” which would put the spring into coil bind about .200” before max lift of his camshaft.

We’ll be installing a new Brian Tooley Racing Valve Spring Kit on these heads so these guys can beat on this engine with no worries for a long time to come.
