Love Like God Loves
1 John 4:11 (NKJV) "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."

Family Commentary
God's love has an objective. He wants us to love others the way He loves us. God's love is not selfish. It serves, forgives, encourages, and sacrifices. When someone hurts our feelings or frustrates us, it can be hard to respond in love. Yet God calls us to reflect His character. We don't love because people deserve it; we love because God loved us first.

What's love got to do with it? Everything! God's love becomes visible when we choose to love others.

Q: Why should we love others?
A: Because God loved us first.
Q: Is it always easy to love others?
A: No, but God gives us strength to do it.
Q: What is one practical way we can love someone this week?
A: Encourage them, help them, forgive them, pray for them, or serve them.

Family Prayer
Lord, thank You for showing us how to love. Help us to love others the way You love us. Give us patient hearts, kind words, and willing hands. Help our family be known for love. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Family Activity: Acts of Love Jar - Place slips of paper in a bowl or jar. On each slip write a simple act of kindness such
as "wash dishes," "write an encouraging note," "help with chores," or "pray for someone." Each family member draws
one and completes it during the week.
