81st Readiness Division

It was an honor to welcome 187 new Soldiers to the U.S. Army Reserve following BCT graduation at Fort Jackson this morning. We would like to extend special recognition to the Soldier Leader of the Cycle, SPC Meghan Gilles, whose outstanding performance truly set the standard.

Please join us in congratulating the newest members of the Army Reserve team as they begin their service and commitment to our Nation.

It was an enjoyable night as we celebrated Army Reserve Night at Segra Park with the Columbia Fireflies baseball team! The energy at the ballpark was unmatched as we celebrated our community and our Soldiers under the Friday night lights.

A special thank you to Brig. Gen. McDavitt for throwing out the first pitch to kick off the game, and to our Wildcat Color Guard for an incredible pre-game presentation. This was an unforgettable evening with our local community, Soldiers, and families.
