Job Title: Superintendent Assistant/Superintendent
Location: Hendersonville, Clarksville, Goodlettsville, White House, Millersville (must be located close to these areas; no relocation fee provided)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Depends on Experience (DOE)
Job Description:
KCS is seeking a dependable and skilled Superintendent Assistant/Superintendent. Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus but not required. The ideal candidate will be proactive and able to handle various tasks associated with managing job sites and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Driving & Equipment Handling: Safely pull and back up a truck with a 20-24' equipment trailer. Ability to operate a skid steer or mini excavator is a plus.
• Loading & Securing: Load, unload, and securely strap material and equipment on a trailer.
• Site Safety: Observe job sites daily to identify and address potential hazards and ensure cleanliness of material and debris related to KCS' scope of work.
• Physical Labor: Lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous labor under various field conditions.
• Independence & Communication: Work independently, complete daily activities as scheduled, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Follow and execute written and verbal instructions.
• Dependability: Maintain a consistent attendance record and adhere to the work schedule.
Requirements:
• Age: Must be 18 or older.
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license required; must be insurable under KCS’s insurance program.
• Drug Test: Must pass a drug test as KCS is a drug-free workplace.
• Medical Card: CDL license not required, but must be able to obtain a medical card.
