The University of South Carolina is proud to host the SEC Food Pantries & Basic Needs Summit, bringing together student leaders, professional staff, and community partners from across the SEC to share ideas, build connections, and strengthen support for students experiencing basic needs insecurity.

The Gamecock Community Shop is seeking summer volunteers to help us continue providing essential resources to Gamecocks all season long. If you’re looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer, we’d love to have you on our team!

📦 Volunteer opportunities are available Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12–4 PM.

🛍️ The Shop will be open Wednesdays & Thursdays from 12–4 PM through August 27, so stop by, say hello, and pick up any essentials you may need.

She’s being recognized alongside Jessie McNevin (Office of Sustainability) and Dr. Scott Taylor (College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management) for their incredible teamwork and commitment to making campus life better for our students.
This award honors those who go above and beyond through collaboration, bringing departments and people together to solve real needs and create meaningful impact across USC.
