Brian’s journey in the cycling industry began at just 17 years old, working in a local bike shop and discovering a passion for helping people stay active. After moving to Columbia, he joined CycleX in 2013 and went on to purchase the business in 2018.
As he looked for ways to make an even greater impact in the community, Brian considered opening a second location. Instead, the opportunity arose to purchase Tryathletics in 2024. Today, he is dedicated to strengthening Columbia’s active athletic community and creating a welcoming place for runners, cyclists, and athletes of every level.
And he is just getting started.
