I have had the same experience as this person/customer who made this post about Chuck Berry the owner of Chuck Berry Habberdashery Store in Harbison , on Bower Parkway, Columbia , South Carolina. I gave him $1,700.00, for 3 complete custom-made outfits, and he never delivered my outfits, nor returned the money that I paid him. After purchasing a cashier’s check and gave it to him , he accepted it at that time. Approximately ,a week later, he stated, that his lawyer advised him, to only receive cash. Because I thought he had some integrity, especially , while operating a business in such a reputable community of and with other businesses with outstanding integrity and service, I cashed in the cashier’s check and received cash, and immediately took it to him, to pay for my custom - made order. He continued to lie about the order: “ It’s coming next week”, since the month of April , 2022!!! It is now December 2022, and he has not responded, even after my attorney has communicated with him and sent correspondence through the US mail.!
He is definitely a liar , crook, and a usury.
Doing business with him is like playing jeopardy!!! He is an awful!
