Recruitment of Apex Volunteers

Every Monday night, a group from Pleasant Heights Baptist Church crosses the parking lot to do hands-on ministry among the clients at the Apex Recovery Rehab facility. This is a wonderful way to be salt and light in our community. For the sake of the kingdom of God, we go to those who are hurting. It is a rotating group, so no one goes every single week. Some will offer words of devotion. Some will bring snacks and fruit, so we can demonstrate hospitality to the clients. However, we all attempt to engage and interact for the sake of the kingdom of God. If you would like to go sometime to see if this would be a good fit for you, discuss this in advance with Dr. Hollingsworth. We show love because Christ first showed love toward us.
