Mom "A" bowed her head as we prayed over her before she walked home from her abortion consultation. She did not want to abort her baby, but she felt like there was no other option. She is living in a group home looking for a job and has no idea how she could raise a child. We explained that there is more help than she could imagine, even a maternity home she can live at. Her circumstances can change and improve, but she can never undo aborting her son or daughter. She took our information, but she never reached out to us. It is mothers like "A" that we must entrust to God’s mercy and grace as we continue to pray for them. We will likely never see or hear from them again, but we allowed God to place us where we could encounter them with the love of Christ in a time of great darkness. We continue to pray that the light of Christ will enlighten their hearts!

We saw a car with a rosary on the rear-view mirror and two Our Lady of Guadalupe stickers on the windshield pull into the driveway that Your Choice Healthcare is connected to. We thought for sure they were going to the laundromat, drive-thru, or daycare; but, to our dismay, it was a couple who walked into the abortion facility! We stayed past the last arrival at the facility to try to reach them as they left. Thankfully, we had a Spanish version of the booklet we give to mothers. In our broken communication, we tried to tell them about all the free help that is available before pointing to the stickers of the “Virgen de Gaudalupe” pregnant with our Lord Jesus on their windshield. They agreed that the grace of Jesus and prayers of Mary would provide for their little family. God must have used this as they never came back for the appointment they scheduled! Praise God!
