Last night was amazing! One more performance of The Matter of Time presented by Movement Afoot tonight! 7 PM Columbus Performing Arts Center.

If you have a few minutes, go to YouTube and find this tribute to Fred Strickler made by Linda Sohl-Ellison. Strickler was born and raised in Columbus, attended Jimmy Rawlins' famed dance school, and did an undergraduate degree at OSU. He passed a few weeks ago at age 81 in California, where he was a professor for decades. He made a great impact on "concert" tap dance, as a co-founder of Jazz Tap Ensemble (with Lynn Dally and Camden Richman) and member of Rhapsody in Taps (Linda Sohl-Ellison). RIP.
