Riding for Camp Rising Sun Lt. Tammy Prescott had been battling cancer for a year when she stayed up until 3 a.m. on a summer night in June, painting pillowcases for Camp Rising Sun’s incoming campers.

And, our final fundraising number for the 2026 Tammy’s Ride for Camp Rising Sun is $2,701! That’s enough to send two children to camp for the entire week.

Thank you all so much for making this event a great one year after year. We’re already looking forward to our 2027 ride!

Join us for our 3rd Annual Tammy's Ride for Camp Rising Sun!

Donation to ride is only $20, and all registered riders will be eligible to win many great prizes, including a $100 gift card to Village Cycle Center! Registration starts at 9 AM, Kickstands up at 10 AM.

We'll be riding in memory of Lt. Tammy Prescott of Lowndes County, MS, who lost her own battle with cancer in 2019. Tammy served the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department and was a long-time volunteer and board member of Camp Rising Sun. Tammy's love and dedication to Camp Rising Sun and her community were unmatched.

Join us May 9th as we support CRS and celebrate Tammy's memory. T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.

Your $20 registration donation will get you one entry into all giveaways at the event. Purchasing a t-shirt will get you another entry, and then every t-shirt purchased or additional $20 donated will earn another entry.

All donations and proceeds go to Camp Rising Sun, a week-long nonprofit summer camp for children in all stages of cancer treatment.
