All these "breeders" popping up everywhere you look and now there are so many choices, but we live in a world where it's extremely difficult to trust and have faith that that breeder is going to do right by you the puppy buyer.

The United Perro De Presa Canario Club is here to help. Some of these certificates are accepted and some are not so before you put down your hard earned money make sure you're informed!

Checks and balances

To be a truly effective entity we must run checks and balances on ourselves as a company to ever bring the best service to our community. In an effort to be ever changing and meet the high demands of the Presa community we find ourselves scrutinizing our registration process.... AND we've found a flaw... With Embark
If Embark themselves won't guarantee breed identity then how can we use it as part of the legitimization process for our Presa Canario registration?
The short answer to that is we CAN'T. If Embark can't/won't stand behind their scientific findings we can't use them as a component of the authentication purposes with our registration process.
As such, registration of previously unregistered dogs will no longer require Embark nor a Wisdom panel.
We hope the community realizes the burden put on us as a breed registration organization. No other registry has the burden of saying what IS a Presa and what is NOT. That responsibility lies SOLELY on our shoulders.
We will endeavor in the future to continue to fine tune our process.
