Updating my “this is a classic set” pic lol ✨
Open eye mapping - 9mm through 13mm. Client is VERY strict about no cat eye 😂
Fun facts about classic sets:
Classic lashes are applied 1:1 meaning one singular extension is applied to one singular natural lash.
This set is typically recommended for clients who already have a fuller lash bed, but classics can still beautifully accentuate features on clients who don’t.
Classics are the most natural set you can choose because they’re designed to mimic the appearance of natural lashes. That means however many natural lashes you have is typically how many extensions you’ll have.
Unlike hybrid or volume sets, where you can place anywhere from 5-15 extensions onto one natural lash (in a fan), classics do not create added density in the same way. Volume techniques purposefully create a fuller lash line when natural density is lacking.
Hope this helps 💗

I snapped this picture during a fill today to show an example of clean isolation. Pay no mind to the 1st map I drew and scribbled out lol
Remember lashes grow in cycles. A lash and it’s neighbor may be in two different lash phases, growing at different speeds. For an example If you have a full grown lash and a baby hair or a hair that is just being produced (in the Anagen stage) side by side and they weren’t properly isolated, gluing both hairs to the same extension or fan, it’s possible one hair will be growing faster than the lash beside it. This will result in one of the hairs to be ripped out prematurely. Depending on which cycle the lash was in when it was pulled out, a new hair will not grow back in, until the cycle completes itself. Which can range anywhere from a couple weeks to several months.
I hope this helps someone, tag a beginner lash tech in this post to spread the free edu 😉
Also I tried a new shape on my nails and I love them lol
