India's leading passenger car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, has taken another step into the world of the metaverse. The automobile giant has launched the ArenaVerse, a metaverse platform for their Arena showroom network, that will allow users to indulge in an immersive virtual experience with their favorite Maruti Suzuki vehicles.

Twitter’s new boss, billionaire Elon Musk has confirmed that the platform will make Twitter verification a paid service. Anyone who wants the ‘blue tick’ will now have to pay a monthly fee of $8 to be seen as a verified account on Twitter. Musk sees it as an exercise to "defeat spam/scam," but many don’t.
The move was met with mixed reactions from the Twitter community, Vitalik’s response is perhaps the most explicit. He has spoken against it. He further added:
“I would support a one-time fee. It also makes more sense from an anti-abuse perspective: the one-time fee would be greater than $8, so if you get banned for misusing the blue check, you would have to pay more to try again.”
