Thank you Delaney Ruth for interviewing CEO, Mario Basora for tonight's coverage on chronic absenteeism. As Mario shared, good habits start before children ever enter kindergarten. We are grateful to be part of a lasting solution that supports K-12 educators.

Absenteeism to remain Columbus school focus despite cuts Leaders at Columbus City Schools said student attendance will remain a priority even after the district voted to eliminate nearly 300 jobs as part of millions of dollars in budget cuts.

This month's Kindergarten Readiness Collaborative workshop theme centers around diversifying classroom texts, supporting multilingual learners, and bringing learning outside!

Teachers reflected on whether their student population reflected their literacy tools and received support on how to create more "windows and mirrors" for all students. Teachers also engaged in a STEM activity with worms that sparked curiosity, wonder, and joy.
