The Limitless You is about discovering just how much you're capable of, and Capital student, Jessi Morgan '28 is a perfect example.

As a biochemistry and chemistry double major and aspiring dentist, she's made the most of every opportunity at Capital. From conducting individual research with faculty mentor Dr. Annie Witzky and serving as president of the pre-dental club to joining TriBeta and gaining hands-on experience in local dental practices, she's built a college experience that is as ambitious as it is rewarding.

A Columbus native, Jessi took full advantage of her ties to the area when it came time to find shadowing opportunities to prepare for dental school. "An advantage I had being from Columbus was being able to shadow at the dentist and orthodontist offices I've gone to for years. I've gotten close with my doctors, which allows me to have someone guiding me on my path to dental school," she said.

At Capital, Jessi hasn't had to choose between academic excellence, leadership, research, service, or community - she's embraced them all. By saying yes to new opportunities and building meaningful connections along the way, she's creating a college experience that reflects her passions, her goals, and her limitless potential.

Today, we join communities across the country in honoring Juneteenth, a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the enduring contributions of Black Americans.

Juneteenth invites us to reflect on our shared history, recognize the ongoing pursuit of equity and justice, and celebrate the strength and richness of the communities around us.

In observance of Juneteenth, Capital University will be closed on June 19. We encourage our community to take time to learn, reflect, celebrate, and engage with the significance of this important day.
