Frost can make or break your garden! Knowing your first and last frost dates helps you time your planting so your crops don’t freeze before they get a chance to thrive.

What a day! Yesterday was all about community, connection, and empowerment. I started off by dropping off a special treat to the WhyHunger Conference, a movement that’s so close to my heart in its mission to end hunger and support food justice. Next up, I had the pleasure of joining the Green Teen Alliance Conference for an insightful panel discussion, moderated by the amazing Julialynne Walker. I sat alongside Dr. Jared Grant, Nicole Jackson, Trevor Horn, and Jo Love, and we dove into the many careers that anyone can hold in agriculture. From education to advocacy to farming, we shared our stories and our hopes for the future of agriculture—especially in how we can engage young people in this essential work.To finish off this whirlwind day, I was honored to host an activation at the Taste of Self Care event by The DIVA Movement™-Empowering Women Entrepreneurs. There, we focused on the importance of practicing self care and its connection to growing anything. Feeling grateful for a day full of meaningful conversations and inspiring people. Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing more about each of these amazing events soon!
