In this piece, she brings her little character, Lucia, to life step by step:
🖌️ A soft background wash to set the mood
🎨 Gouache to build up the character
🖊️ Indian ink for those fine hair details
✏️ Colored pencils to refine
🖍️ Neocolor pastels for rich texture
Then she scans it in and cleans it up in Procreate for some finishing touches. Analog meets digital! And the result is full of personality. 🖤
