Ok.. so here's something that is really fun to do with better samplers. Using individual instrument samples for keyboards I've completely recreated the Russian Dance by Peter Illyich Tchaikovsky. I played every instrument one part or sedtion at a time. I'll never really like the legato movements on inddividual sustained samples. But it's a useful way to recreate a famous (public domain) piece for manipulation for media projects.. and for me it's fun. You can hear how far sampled instruments have come. I simply matched the tempo of a previous recorded version so the tempo changes are natural. We took a vid of these adorable Puffins atop a cliff on the isle of Lunga in Scotland. No reason for using this .. but it was the right length and it's sooper coooot.
