BecomingMe: Betrayal

Betrayal hits differently when it comes from the people you trusted most. It’s not just about what they did. It’s about what it took from you. Your safety. Your peace. The version of yourself that believed they’d never do that.

I’ve been there. I’ve sat in the shock, replayed the moment a hundred times, and asked questions I’ll probably never get answers to.

And here’s what I learned...
Betrayal will try to rewrite your worth in invisible ink, making you feel like you were the problem all along. It will tempt you to close off, to trust less, and to build walls so high no one can reach you. A sad place to put yourself when you're a person fueled by contact and association.

But BecomingMe means choosing differently.
It means I can name the hurt and still keep my heart soft.
It means I can protect myself without losing myself.
It means I can let go. Not because they deserve it, but because I deserve peace.

Betrayal might have changed me, but it will not define me.
And the best revenge I’ll ever give it…is becoming everything they thought I couldn’t or wouldn't be.

Remember...Betrayal changes you, but it doesn’t have to break you!
