MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION

Columbus, OH

We are looking for a medical assistant to join our team and work approximately 30 hours a week at Pro Health Services.

*Comfortable hours, and with just a half-day on Wednesdays, you have time to take care of non-work responsibilities during the week

*Get a protected 30-60 minute lunch break (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri)

*Start your work day late enough to put your kids on the bus (or sleep in) and end your work day early enough to enjoy dinner with your family. Office hours are Mon 9am -3 pm, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9 am-4:30 pm, and Wed 9 am -12 pm.

What will doing a great job will look like?

*We are looking for a punctual, reliable, and motivated individual with critical thinking skills wanting to work in the health care field.

*The ideal candidate has great phone skills, excellent customer service skills, is organized, and is capable of learning and using clinical skills as well.

* Computer proficiency is a must as we use an electronic medical record and are relatively paperless

*Rooming patients, including obtaining vitals, performing body composition analyses (to be taught), performing office urine drug testing and recording results (to be taught) in an efficient manner, giving subcutaneous injections (to be taught), and documenting medications for all procedures done

*Being able to answer the phone, schedule appointments, make outbound calls, and other medical office tasks

*Weekly feedback for the first 90 days
