Painting of one (1) pet will be on 10x14 acid-free Arches heavyweight paper (painting will be unmatted).
Auction winner sends a high resolution headshot photo of their pet to Linda Greiner via Facebook or e-mail.
Your photo will be enlarged in Adobe Photoshop to 8x10, so it's important that eyes, nose, mouth and ears not be blurry. 300 dpi works best (vs. 72 dpi). The clearer the photo, the better the painted portrait.
Retail + shipping value = $120.00; Starting bid $75
** s/h fee has also been donated by Linda. Finished portrait will be sent via UPS.
Please allow 3-4 weeks from time photo is received by Linda and painting started until you receive it. S/H can take a week.

We hold these auctions to raise money for the Shelties at Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue, but bidding comes with a commitment to follow through with payment for the item you may win. All proceeds from our auctions and fundraisers go strictly toward vet bills, medications, food and care for these rescued Shelties.

We rehabilitate, socialize and rehome Shelties that have found themselves in shelters, humane societies or strays. We also take in unwanted Shelties that the owners can no longer care for themselves. Some of these Shelties are forever foster dogs which means these dogs cannot be placed for one reason or another through no fault of their own. They will have the care they need for the rest of their lives.

In case of multiple bids at closing, the highest bid at 7:00 PM EST will be accepted. Any bid posted at 7:01 PM EST or later will not be accepted. We use the timestamp from Facebook to determine this outcome. After auction ends, winner’s name will be posted and we’ll contact the winner as soon as possible via private message or email with the details.

Payment can be made through PayPal by going to our website at https://www.centralohiosheltierescue.com/ and clicking on "donate" button. We also accept credit card payments and Venmo. Checks/money orders can be mailed to Central Ohio Sheltie Rescue, P. O. Box 13072, Columbus, OH 43213.

Important: We ask that PayPal payment be made within 5 days from date auction ends. If you’re paying via check/money order, please mail to our rescue within 7 days from date auction ends. If you are a new participant and pay via check, it may take a little longer to receive your item.
