If you are wise and understand God’s ways, prove it by living an honorable life. Do good works with the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you are bitter and envious and there is selfish ambition in your heart, do not cover up the truth with boasting and lying. Envy and lying are not wisdom from God. Such things are earthly, not spiritual and demonic. Wherever there is envy and selfish ambition there you will find disorder of every kind.
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
