As part of our partnership with , a group of US-based Designer Brands associates spent five days in Honduras on a service trip. They experienced the impact of our donations firsthand, met some of the micro-entrepreneurs who receive our shoe donations, immersed themselves int he local community and distributed new shoes to children and their families. We kicked off the start of summer by inviting our teams across the business to get creative and show us their summer spirit! Featured themes included Decades Day, Beach Day, Sports Day and Company Pride Day! Check out what some of our teams came up with!

(Link in Bio) At Designer Brands, it’s our mission to inspire self-expression and we support Pride 12 months a year, not just during June. Our LGBTQ+ associate group plays a big role in influencing our Pride collection each year and proceeds allow us to support several LGTBQ+ organizations like The River Fund and New York Cares, the Zebra Coalition and the Kaleidoscope Youth Center, to name a few. Our associate group also influences our benefits offerings and for the second year in a row we scored 100% on the HRC’s corporate equality index and were named one of Forbes’ Best Places to work for LGBTQ+. We’re super proud of our LGBTQ+ associates especially for their work to advance our brand and company’s work in this area. Here’s to celebrating them this month, and every month!

For the second year in a row, Designer Brands has been recognized for its LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts with a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index! A perfect score places organizations on HRC’s Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality list.
The Corporate Equality Index is a report published annually by the HRC which rates American businesses on their treatment of LGBTQ associates, consumers and investors. It’s the leading benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertaining to le***an, gay, bisexual, transgender and q***r employees, driving LGBTQ workplace inclusion.
