Some of my dearest friends and chosen family, John and Rachel, are experiencing some of the most unimaginable tragedy. Their son, Oscar, was attacked by two dogs while outside playing in front of their home. He is in currently in the ICU at Children’s hospital. He is stable after lengthy surgery, but will be in the hospital for many more weeks, undergoing more surgeries to repair and rebuild his ravaged body. This is an actual nightmare.
