THE CROSS ABOLISHED SIN.
The cross of Jesus is the end of sin for all humanity. The cross abolished the sin of Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and all kind of religion you may think of. Meaning, the death of Jesus is the abolishment of the sin we inherited from Adam. The cross killed sin forever.
Jesus' death ended the race of sin. His death put an end to the world's curse for them to put on the blessing of Christ by faith (Galatians 3:13-14.) No sin left behind outside the cross of Jesus. No sin survived outside the cross of Jesus. The cross finished sin. The debt is cleared for the world by Jesus Christ.
The cross of Jesus consumed everything called sin. The cross of Jesus put an end to the sin of humanity once for all. So that the human world will say, thank you, Jesus, for taking away my sin by the sacrifice of yourself.
Hebrews 9:26 KJV
For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared TO PUT AWAY SIN BY THE SACRIFICE OF HIMSELF.
How did Jesus put away the sin of the world? It says by death. So, the death of Jesus is the death of sin. When Jesus died, sin died. How? Because the Lord became sin according to 2Corinthians 5:21. This is why, Hebrews is telling you, Jesus put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. The man on the cross was an embodiment of sin. He was no longer a human but sin because he was made sin. So, that personality who died on the cross is SIN.
He put away the sin of Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus etc. Jesus didn't put away the sin of believers as many are ignorantly preaching because believers don't have sin. The sin he put away was the sin of the world.
John 1:29 KJV
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.
Unfortunately, the liar has sold lies to many unlearned preachers, that sin is still alive after the death of Jesus. He has deceived many that, even though Jesus died but sin lives in them. That's all lies sold to believers which limit the flow of the Holy Spirit through them.
The sin which you inherited from Adam, which made you a sinner is dead. It died on the cross and was buried in the grave. Sin is dead by the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Anyone who points sin to you outside the cross is ignorance about redemption. Meaning, he or she is not well learned.
All that left is for you to receive the righteousness established by Jesus Christ through his resurrection by faith. This is the gospel truth. Now, go ahead and receive eternal life because sin is dead and there's no sin between you and God. What stands between you and God is Jesus Christ to be received.
Stay blessed.
Psalms 95:1-6
O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
When the Insignificant Leads to Victory
We all know the story of David — the young shepherd who became a hero when he defeated the Philistine giant named Goliath. David was the youngest son of Jesse, whose three oldest sons were serving in King Saul’s army. Their father Jesse sent David out to the battlefield to check on his brothers and take some provisions to them.
“Take these ten cuts of cheese to the commander of the unit. See how your brothers are doing and bring back news of them. Now they are with Saul and all the men of Israel in the Valley of Elah, fighting with the Philistines. So David got up early in the morning … and went” (1 Samuel 17:-20, AMP).
David’s father asked him to do something small and he obeyed, never imagining that this insignificant task would lead to a great victory for himself, for the Israelites and for God. David was bold and he ended up killing Goliath, who had been taunting the men of Israel relentlessly — a feat that would define his life (read the full story in 1 Samuel 17:23-51).
Think of it. The Holy Spirit was not moving on David to take cheese to his brothers, he went because his father told him to. David was making a cheese delivery, a menial act of service, when he was supernaturally positioned for the destiny God had planned for him.
Hudson Taylor, British missionary to China, said, “A little thing is a little thing, but faithfulness in little things is a great thing.”
Your entry ramp into your destiny starts with humble tasks that may not even match what you want to do. You must pass the humility test. Many people are never selected to fight the giant because they didn’t want the cheese assignment!
Go from the beginning of the Bible to the end and over and over you’ll find the stories of men and women with servant hearts, minds and spirits who made the world a much better place:
Moses didn’t say, “I don’t do deserts.” Ruth didn’t say, “I don’t do mothers-in-law.”
Noah didn’t say, “I don’t do boats.” Mary didn’t say, “I don’t do virgin births.”
Paul didn’t say, “I don’t do letters.” Jesus didn’t say, “I don’t do crosses.”
Be the believer who does the seemingly insignificant act of service on your way to finding your destiny in Christ. Deliver the cheese!
Don't Harden Your Heart.
"So circumcise of your [minds and] hearts; be no longer stubborn and hardened."Deuteronomy 10:16 (AMPC)
The children of Israel had forty years of seeing the goodness and faithfulness of God. They experienced a continuous demonstration of Him proving His trustworthiness, care, protection, and provision. However, when trouble presented itself they complained and doubted His faithfulness to them. We are told their hearts were hardened and callous towards God, preventing them from recognising and enjoying His attentive care. No matter how many times He proved Himself, they remained stubborn and unbelieving. But when we really think about it, are we much different from them? How many times has God proven His faithfulness to us? How often have we called on His Name and seen Him rescue, protect, and provide? And yet, when trouble comes, we immediately resort to grumbling or worrying, even though we know He is trustworthy and has promised to never leave, or fail us?
*Let's be very careful to not harden our hearts by focusing on the trouble around us, instead of gratefully trusting in God's goodness towards us.*
