Empowering women is the heart of the YES! Columbus mission and Dress for Success Columbus mission, but we hear that phrase so often that we can lose sight of the purpose behind it. What does empowering women mean to *you* ?

“Empowering women means supporting women through community to succeed in spaces that were not created by us nor for us. As an attorney, I regularly encounter and challenge stereotypes about the role of women in the legal field. I serve with YES! Columbus and Dress for Success Columbus to make sure all women in our community can access the resources they need to confidently showcase their talents and leadership in the face of adversity.”

This is Hayley's first year serving on the YES! Columbus board. 💖

“To me, empowering women means recognizing the strengths we each possess and using them to create connections and opportunities that help others thrive. As a young woman on my own professional journey, merging my passion for planning impactful events while connecting to women at all stages of their journey is incredibly meaningful. Through YES, I’m grateful to contribute to a community where every woman has the support to shape her own success.”

Evin began volunteering with YES! Columbus in 2024 and this year is her first year serving on the board. 💖
