Introducing the "Marantz Gold Plate" Service
Your Marantz 22xx or 23xx series receiver is a masterpiece of mid-century engineering—beautifully built and delivering fantastic sound. These legendary units are still going strong after nearly 50 years, but they often need maintenance to keep performing at their best.
At Stereo Lab, we’ve bundled essential restoration services into a single, comprehensive package: the "Marantz Gold Plate" Service. In most cases, this service will restore your receiver to its former glory. If we discover additional issues, we’ll discuss them with you and determine the best course of action.
Service includes.
1. Cleaning all controls and switches, including pre-main loop
2. Dress all connections with CAIG De-Oxit
3. Replacing all lamps with LED, in your choice of blue or white, including indicator lamps (as needed)
4. New LED stereo beacon
5. Clean and l**e tuning capacitor
6. Replacement of speaker protection relay
7. Replacement of capacitors on the power supply
8. Testing and replacement of critical capacitors as needed
9. FM discriminator centering
10. Peak FM IF coils
11. Clean and polish faceplate
12. Clean and De-Ox rear RCA and speaker binding posts
13. Test all inputs, including phono
14. Test for more serious issues that may need to be addressed separately
15. Test for broken or cold solder joints and reflow if needed
16. Calibrate DC Offset and Bias per spec
17. Replace missing feet with new 3-D printed feet
18. Produce report on unit performance with our state-of-the-art analyzer
19. 180 day warranty on any work we have done
20. Piece will be next on the bench, no 8-10 week backlog to wait on

All for $599.00 + Tax
Caveats:
Problems found outside the service parameters stated are not eligible for special pricing and will be estimated separately. Quad units are not eligible. Units outside the 22xx and 23xx model lines are not eligible. Only Marantz units are eligible. “Next on the bench” means as soon as the tech has cleared the piece ahead of yours, you are next.
