As a Rocky Horror shadow cast, we believe performance should be a space for creativity, expression, and community.

Ohio House Bill 249 threatens that spirit by expanding restrictions on so-called “adult cabaret” in ways that could impact drag, gender-nonconforming performers, and live theatre spaces across the state.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show has always been about celebrating individuality and finding freedom through performance. Laws that blur the line between art and criminalization put that tradition—and many performers—at risk.

We encourage our community to learn about HB 249 and speak up for artistic expression and inclusive performance spaces in Ohio.
