Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet so many amazing future Cougar families, and we were inspired by the excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to academic excellence shown by both students and parents. Summer break is a time to relax, recharge, and make memories, but it's also important to keep young minds active and engaged. Without regular learning opportunities, students can experience the "Summer Slide," a loss of academic skills and knowledge gained during the school year.

The good news? Just a little learning each day can make a big difference!
✅ Read for at least 20 minutes each day
✅ Practice math facts and problem-solving skills
✅ Explore STEM projects and educational activities
✅ Visit museums, parks, and community events that encourage learning

One of our favorite resources is the Columbus Metropolitan Library Summer Reading Challenge! This free program encourages students of all ages to read throughout the summer while earning prizes and participating in fun activities.
