On this day in 1984, a large group of volunteers gathered at 560 Willowbrook Road to begin construction of the Golden Triangle Baptist Missions building.

Brother J.C. Mitchell, the first Director of Missions would later say at the dedication service for the building, "It is evident that no words can describe the great spirit that has prevailed among our churches and individual workers throughout this project. Neither can the commitment and dedication of those who worked so diligently to see the building through to completion be adequately portrayed. We give thanks to God for what He has done through His people." ⛪️
