Hi, hello, how you doin?

I'm Jayne your resident chocolate hating photographer. I hope we can still be friends after that revelation!

I live in Columbus, Ohio and have been a photographer for over 10 years. I have a degree in event management (so there isn't any curve ball I can't handle on your wedding day).

I fell in love with photography because I fell in love with people. I love when people tell stories of their life. Ones where they did something brave or maybe a little foolish. The best are ones that keep you up 'till two in the morning laughing.
With photography, I get to have a little glimpse into one of those stories you will spend years talking about while you pass around photos.
I am also very aware at how stressful and overstimulating these moments can be. I've been there, feeling like you have to wear a mask and perform. That's why I do what I do. You can be yourself here, you can drop the mask, I got your back friend.

P.S. I'm a mean uno player, so don't challenge me unless you wanna lose!

Feel awkward in front of the camera? You're not alone here are some tips to help you feel your best!

1. Wear things that you feel comfortable in. Ask your photographer if they have a style guide to help you.
2. Roll those shoulders back. When we get nervous, we can tend to tense up. Make sure you relax your shoulders and stand up straight.
3. If you feel awkward smiling try resting the tip of your tongue on the roof of your mouth. This can help relax your jaw and make your smile look more natural.
4. Move around. Movement can help loosen your body up and create moments of connection.
5. Choose a photographer you feel comfortable with. I like to gently pose my couples while leaving room for whatever may unfold.
