Medflight MICU

As we look through the history of the MICU, there have been some phenomenal clinicians that started in the MICU Team at Riverside Methodist Thanks to Retired Medflight Nurse (and RMH MICU Nurse) Marilyn D. for this image. Who can name the rest of the team pictured?

As we move through the rest of the year, if any of the public, present, or former team members have any pictures from over the years, send them to us with names (give credit where it’s due), and we will post them the rest of the year.

While many people know that Medflight was created by the merging of Grant LifeFlight and OSU Skymed in 1995, many don’t realize in 1996, Riverside Methodist Hospital’s Mobile ICU program was merged into Medflight to create a comprehensive critical care transport program. This year marks 30 years of the MICU program at Medflight.

A big congratulations to our very own Megan Leffler. She recent won clinical partner of the year during MedFlight’s partner choice awards. We are very proud of Megan!
