✨meet the dancer monday: sally squires✨

this is sally’s sixth season in the company! she’s 28 years old and her favorite style of dance is ballet!.

fun fact, I love riding horses! I’m just a beginner, but it has brought me so much joy over the past few years. 🏇

“Sally Squires began dancing at the age of four. She received her training at New Albany Ballet Company, BalletMet, and has completed summer programs at Ballet Detroit and Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. She also spent a season performing with Cleveland Ballet Company. Beyond her work as a dancer, she is a vocalist with performance credits at Opera Columbus, Short North Stage, and Pickerington Community Theatre. Sally is currently finishing degrees in mathematics and biochemistry with a minor in political science at Otterbein University. She continues to keep ballet in her life by teaching the talented young artists at K Studio, BalletMet, and other studios around central Ohio. She has also had the opportunity to regularly teach ballet to her fellow NVDC company members, which brings her so much joy. Sally is happy to be dancing with New Vision Dance Company for a sixth season!”
