Updated times for tryouts:

HOVA Tryouts
First of all, I would like to thank you for your interest in trying out for the 2023 HOVA club season. Due to the number of clubs offering tryouts at the same time, HOVA is moving their tryout times and dates. Our goal is to maximize the opportunity for your athlete to make a club team. By changing our dates and times, we are giving you the opportunity to go to other tryouts but still be able to try out in front of the HOVA coaches and not force you to choose between clubs the night of tryouts.

If you signed up for tryouts and are only available to come to tryouts on the original times, please contact Coach Parkison at 740-975-9362 for a refund or to set up an alternate tryout time and date.

New tryout dates and times are below:

Saturday Oct 22nd 12:00pm – 1:30pm 12 and under
Saturday Oct 29th 2:00pm-3:30pm 13U
Saturday Oct 29th 3:30pm-5:00pm 14U
Sunday Nov 13th 6:00 pm to 8:00pm 15U-16U
Sunday Nov 13th 4:00pm to 6:00pm 17U- 18U

Once again, we are adjusting dates and times to to allow players the opportunity to tryout for all the great clubs in the area, and give the athletes the best chance of playing club. HOVA will always put the athlete first!!

15A — Gold runners-up
17A — Silver runners-up
17R — Bronze runners-up

The girls got to watch some men’s pro volleyball and meet some players — they were most impressed. Great season opener for our club and a great showing!

Just a quick reminder if you need extra kneepads (Mizuno and Nike both stocked) $16, elbow pads (Tandem, black or white) $20, or black Mizuno spandex $23, please send a text or email to Julie! You'll find coach/director contact info in the folders your players brought home that first practice:) Make sure you add your coach to your contacts in the event of an emergency!
