It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that I share the news that Sophia Kontaxis, more commonly known as Mama Gus, passed away this afternoon. She has made her triumphant way to heaven where I am sure she was greeted by her daughter, Kathy, and her beloved parents. Please keep her loving children, Anthony G. Kontaxis, Beba Kontaxis, Nick Vogus, and her entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will announce service arrangements once finalized.

Freezers, coolers, fryalators, refrigerator, dishes, pots and pans, tables, chairs, and other misc. items.

If you are interested in purchasing, please send private message via Facebook to schedule a time to view items. Because we are not in operation, drop-in visits are not available.

Gus’s Extends Closing Date to October 6.

Due to the overwhelming customer support since our original announcement, MAMA GUS says she wants to stay open one more week so that loyal customers will have enough time to experience GUS’s DRIVE-IN one more time before we close the doors. And if MAMA GUS says so, we do it. So come on out to Gus’s. Please share the word. WE ARE OPEN ONE MORE WEEK.
