In celebration of International Women’s Month, Dureti ( Mimi) Tadesse had the honor of being a guest speaker yesterday at a Meet The Author event of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals working together to empower women and girls worldwide through service and advocacy.
Mimi shared about CGWE’s mission to create economic self-sufficiency for women and children, as well as the message of her book Resilience.
It was truly an honor to share who we are at CGWE, how we empower women and children, and to remind everyone that we all carry resilience within us. Grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an inspiring conversation dedicated to uplifting women and girls.

Saturday March 8,2026, we celebrated International Women’s Day at the “Celebrate Her” event, and it was a huge success!
