The world has had so much unrest with recent events. Today many of us were covered in a blanket of snow. It gave a nervous system reset to me as I watched the snow falling. ❄️❄️❄️ It’s a really complex world out there. There is a lot of grief and lament that becomes a collective trauma we hold in our nervous systems as some react, some shut down, and sometimes we are in sheer disbelief and utter anguish. Look for moments of stillness. Use your voice where you can. Reflect on the goodness around you. Consider how you can reach the suffering if you have it in your capacity to do so today. One of the lessons nature gave me today, along with the day of pause, was that really little things really do add up. At times the snowflakes were so tiny you could hardly see them. Their persistence continued. The impact was palpable. We get to be here today. We can join with all the others walking this path and see that we aren’t alone. See all that snow??? We are one small piece of a greater whole. And it makes a huge difference. We are so glad you are here.
