We are wintering.
On the surface, things may look quiet, bare, even fruitless.
But beneath the soil, holy work is happening.

Roots are stretching.
Trust is deepening.
Love is anchoring us more firmly than ever.

“The soul is like a tree rooted in God’s love; the more deeply it sinks into Him, the more it flourishes.”

This is the gift of Ordinary Time—
not flashy, not loud, not performative—
but faithful, slow, and deeply formative.

Here at Sacred Treasures, we honor these in-between seasons.
Not rushing growth.
Not forcing fruit.
Simply learning how to be—
abiding, listening, resting, receiving.

A gentle invitation for today:
Let yourself be rooted.
Let stillness do its quiet work.
Let God love you where you are.

Growth is happening—even now. 🤍

Today I stood at the shoreline and wrote Waves of Grace in the sand — fitting words for what my heart has been holding. There is such tenderness and holy anticipation in me for the days ahead. Every year, this retreat is one of the sweetest highlights of my life… a few set-apart days with His Sacred Treasures — you.

We come as we are.
We slow down.
We breathe again.
We remember that we are the beloved.

And somehow, every time, the Lord meets us in the most gentle, healing ways — ways we could never plan or manufacture. Just grace. Just presence. Just God being God.

If your heart has been longing for rest…
if you feel the pull toward quiet…
if you are sensing a deeper invitation into Love…

You may want to consider joining us in 2026.
We’ll be exploring what it means to live in rhythm with the ancient church calendar, and the sacred practices of silence, solitude, slowing, and receiving the Love of God in ways we may have never experienced before.

We will begin together at the start of Advent, the beginning of the church year — a tender season of waiting, expectancy, and light slowly returning.

If you’d like to hear more, message me.
I’d love to send you the date for a Zoom call and share the heart behind it.

Until then — may grace wash over you like the tide, again and again and again. 🤍
Waves of Grace.

Breath Prayers for the Season of Shedding 🍂

In Sacred Treasures, we’ve been practicing slowing down and paying attention to the rhythms of the season — noticing how creation teaches us to release what no longer serves and to stay rooted in what gives life.

Just as the trees let go of their leaves, we’re invited to let go too — of cluttered thoughts, striving, and the need to hold everything together.

Take a few slow breaths with me…

🌿 Inhale: Unclutter my soul
🌿 Exhale: Set me free in You

🍁 Inhale: Empty me of striving
🍁 Exhale: Fill me with peace

🕊️ Inhale: Into Your hands, Lord
🕊️ Exhale: I release all things

May these simple breath prayers draw you into stillness — a reminder that freedom often comes through release, and peace is found in resting in God’s gentle rhythm of letting go.
